Verizon Web & App Redesign

I was focused on the Verizon account at AKQA for over a year and a half. During my time there I tackled three large projects - the redesign of the logged-in state for My Verizon Online, the omnichannel transformation of the billing experience, and managing a series of projects for the prepaid My Verizon app.

My Verizon Online

I led one of the four design teams working on the re-design of the logged-in state for verizonwireless.com, My Verizon Online. I gathered business requirements, created sprint schedules, provided daily updates to clients and presented work weekly at Verizon's headquarters. Additionally, I helped conduct VQA and worked with the client's IT team to resolve defects.

Omnichannel Billing Experience

I managed the design team dedicated to the transformation of the Verizon customer billing experience for web, app, and paper bills. Our team redesigned the customer experience of viewing a bill, understanding the charges and being able to pay. The project entailed working with a large group of stakeholders across the different channels and ensuring there was design consistency across each platform. 

My Verizon App for Prepaid

For Verizon prepaid customers, I managed two design teams with support from an associate project manager. The teams focused on a variety of projects for the My Verizon App specific to prepaid customers ranging from new features, promotions, marketing materials to business requirement updates. The role required me to manage a large number of projects with different LOEs and schedules.
